Underweight model 'too giant for London Fashion Week

At 5ft 11in and nine stone, Madeline Grant is more than half a stone underweight according to NHS guides. The size eight 17-year-old was "devastated" when Profile refused to put her onward for castings as her hip depth had bigger by two inches.

Eating disorder expert Dr Adrienne Key said the case highlighted the industry's “robotic obsession” with an ultra-thin ideal of female beauty.
Today the agency insisted it was “protecting” Madeline from being rejected by “sad” designers who will only show their clothes on women who appear like “androgynous bloody coathangers”.

He said “95 per cent” of catwalk designers would think Madeline too big. The industry is run by the gay mafia who has never imaginary a girl in their life and don't value any curves - they think they just get in the way of clothes.

“My friends are laughing about how they all wish they were as fat as me now.

Claudia Nystad and Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle have admitted they wore absolutley nothing under their body-hugging outfits during their amazing team sprint win on Tuesday.
According to the 'BZ' newspaper, Evi said: “We would have appreciated to race naked. But we had to cover ourselves with something.
"Honestly, we didn’t have anything on under our skiing suits because of the heat.”
Fans of the sexy skiers will no doubt be taking a closer look at the pictures of their winning race again…
But Evi made it unambiguous that she has no further plans to go bare: “I wouldn’t undress for Playboy now.”
The only man lucky enough to see 29-year-old Evi in the naked is her husband of five years, Johannes Stehle.

Tyra Banks Is 'Huge,' Possibly A Man

Fired "America's Next Top Model" judge Janice Dickinson doesn't have the nicest things to say concerning her former boss Tyra Banks, according to Starpulse: "She's huge. She's a big lady. I used to think she was a man. I used to look at her and think, 'Something isn't right here.'"

Dickinson was seemingly canned from "America's Next Top Model" for calling Banks "fat." And she's not the first ex- supermodel to be sacked from the show: this summer Paulina Porizkova blogged for the Huffington Post about being fired in the spring of 2009.

The newest judge to be added to ANTM is Vogue's editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley, who's no unfamiliar person to weight battles: he took up tennis after his boss Anna Wintour told him to lose weight.

Tyra Banks launches ‘fiercely real’ teen model search

America’s next top model is receiving real.
Tyra Banks has announced her latest modeling contest and it’s all about plus-sized teens, reports us magazine. She calls the new contest the first ever “fiercely real” teen model search.
The supermodel-turned-TV-guru talked about the competition during her daytime talk show, “The Tyra Show,” on Monday. Any girls between the ages of 13 and 19 are invited to enter, as long as they have a dress size between 12 and 20 and are 59 to 61 in height.
Unlike “America’s Next Top Model,” this search won’t have the girls going from side to side weeks of grueling photo shoots exhausting sky-high stilettos.

Models

Hot models have been wearing hot fashions in hot and humid conditions in Melbourne.

Federation Square was hot on all counts for the launch of the city's annual fashion festival curriculum on Wednesday.

At times wilting less than 30 degree heat and high humidity, young models strutted out wearing black and white minis inlaid with fake jewels and gold and silver metallic detail.

The perspiring environment meant Melbourne's fashion crowd for once sought a place in the shade from which to cast their eye over proceedings, as they readied themselves for the festival to begin on March 14.

The festival will include seven runways at Docklands, with shows open to the public.

International designers, such as Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa and former Hermes chairman and chief executive Christian Blanckaert will feature, as well as Australian fashion industry icons and budding designer.

Hot Girl

Cheryl Cole was said to be confounded last night after her footballer husband Ashley's lewd performance heaped further humiliation on her.
The couple had before now spent most of the past fortnight apart amid revelations that pictures of the Chelsea star naked had been sent to a blonde topless model's mobile phone.
Cole, 29, had insisted that there was an innocent explanation for this because he had passed the phone on to an acquaintance before the photos were sent to mother-of-two Sonia Wild.
But yesterday it was claimed that another blonde, an unknown secretary, had received similar images and more than 300 text messages from the same phone nine months earlier.
Cheryl, 26, is due to perform in front of millions of viewers at the Brit Awards in London tonight. Observers at rehearsals say she looks gaunt, physically crumpled and miserable.
But she is said to be firm to go ahead with the show in spite of the latest sickening blow to her marriage

Heidi Klum to guest star

Heidi Klum is set to add even more excitement to Wisteria Lane - as she's been lined up to play herself in a guest spot on this series.

When Eva Longoria, who plays Gaby Solis, and Drea de Matteo, who plays Angie Bolen, head out of the sleepy suburb to New York, Heidi will bump into them, along with Swedish model Paulina Porizkova, of America's Next Top Model fame.

Heidi is no stranger to cameo roles, and has appeared in Sex and the City and How I Met Your Mother.

Heidi is not the only actor to announce they're joining the series, with Doctor Who star John Barrowman revealing he will guest star in several episodes.

He's rumoured to play the main villain in the last section of the current season.
